VISIT US THIS SUNDAY!

Thank you for checking out our church! Toccoa First Methodist Church is a loving fellowship of people who treasure Christ above all and want to help others do the same. Whether you are a life-long resident of Toccoa or you're new to the area, you are always welcome at Toccoa First! We offer in-person and online contemporary and traditional worship every Sunday, and several different Bible studies throughout the week. Below you will find some other information to help you plan your first visit with us:

The church is located in the heart of historic Toccoa, Georgia at 333 East Tugalo Street. The main church property lies between East Tugalo Street and East Savannah Street. The church office is located on the corner of East Tugalo and Walnut streets, and our youth building is across from the main building on Short Street.

There's plenty of parking!  The main parking lot is behind the church on East Savannah Street. There is a senior lot on the corner of Short Street and East Savannah Street and a handicap-accessible lot between the two buildings on East Tugalo Street (Cheek Hall and the Sanctuary).  You can drive between the two buildings. Parking is also available next to the youth building, as well as in the small lot next to Cheek Hall, and also along Short Street and East Savannah Street. If you are visiting the office, there is a small lot on Walnut Street on the same side of the road as the office.

We offer two different services every Sunday. No matter which service you attend, we hope that you will feel welcome and experience the love of Jesus Christ.

If you prefer a more modern worship experience (praise band, contemporary music, etc.), our contemporary service, the Alternative, meets at 8:30 AM in Cheek Hall.

If you prefer a more traditional worship experience (organ, hymns, choir, hand bells, traditional liturgy, etc.), our traditional worship service meets at 11:00 AM in the sanctuary.

If you are unable to join us in person, both of our services are live-streamed on our church Facebook page and YouTube channel

Each service lasts about an hour, sometimes going over or under that time by a few minutes.

There is no dress-code for worship. Some people wear their "Sunday best" and others wear jeans. Wear what makes you comfortable!

All of our buildings are wheelchair accessible. For people with accessibility needs, the best entrances to use are located under the portico between the Sanctuary and McNeely Hall, the two main buildings on East Tugalo Street. There is an elevator in the main building for anyone who wants to attend Sunday School.

(Classrooms are upstairs on the second floor.)  Parking  between the two buildings is available for those with accessibility needs.

While we believe in worshipping as a family, we do have a nursery available for babies and toddlers.  However, most children remain with their families during worship services. Children are encouraged to join children their own age during Sunday School.

Sunday School for (nearly) all ages!

Several different classes for children and adults each Sunday are held at 9:45 AM. To learn more about our Sunday School classes, click here
