Go Beyond Academy will begin in October 2022 and meet through March 2023.

 

This year’s Go Beyond Academy will study the call, equip, & actually walk alongside each other as we Go Beyond the walls of the local church to speak the name of Christ to friends and neighbors. The Academy experience includes weekly small group time to Scripture study and a large group monthly workshop (every third Thursday, 6-8pm). This year, each small group will chose one of their weekly study times to have a guided time to put what we are learning into practice and go “Into The Community”. These are fun opportunities to grow and go as a disciple-making-disciple of Christ! There is much joy and laughter as we learn and share this journey.

 

Those who have attended previous years are ask to take part again and bring two or more new participants with them. Participants may join this study from any place regardless of where they live or attend church. Toccoa First - Invite family members and friends to join. All activities available through Zoom as well as in person.

 

Come grow in practical ways and let’s live Out our love of God lived in how we love and share Christ with our neighbor.  

 

RSVP participant name and contact due to the church office by October 10th. Small groups will begin meeting the week of October 17th at a time that works best for them. The first workshop will be November 17th, dinner included.

 

Workshop topics include: The Gospel Of Christ In Your Own Words (Nov), Telling Your Own Story (Dec), Skills For Making Relationships For Christ (Jan), Using Technology To Share Christ (Feb), Sharing & Declaring Christ Celebration (March).

 

Guided “Into The Community” Experiences for the small groups include: Dining Out To Build Relationships For Jesus (Nov), Passing Out Cash & Christ The King (Dec), Blessing Local Businesses For Jesus (Jan), Thanking Public Servants For Christ (Feb), Sharing Christ Digitally (March).
