Children' Choir

Wednesday 4:30 - 5:30

The children in grades K - 5 can participate in children's choirs which include a hand chime choir for grades 3 - 5. Come join us in the choir room.

 

 

Ladies Bible Study

Ephesians

4:30 p.m. in the Chapel

During this series, we will unpack the Book of Ephesians, and learn how to GET RICH QUICK. This study will open our eyes to the riches that believers already have, and learn how to take advantage of this never-fading wealth. This study will be led by Chris Freshour.

 

 

Dinner

Wednesday 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the Cheek Hall


Don't worry about preparing supper, just bring yourself and your family and enjoy some great fellowship, eat some delicious food prepared by Alisa Adams. We gather to eat at 5:30 in the Cheek Hall. Salad and baked potatoes are available weekly if you prefer a lighter fare. Cost is $6.00 per adult and $3.00 per child
with a family cap of $20. At 6:15 we will present a spotlight on members and ministry, including a time for children, announcements and devotional. Programs will begin at 6:30. Call the church office to register (or cancel) by Tuesdays at noon.

 

JAM (Jesus and Me)

Wednesday 6:30 p.m.- 7:30 p.m. in the McNeely Hall

Wednesday JAM (Jesus and Me) is all about us having FUN together at church, getting to know each other better, and growing closer to God. Every Wednesday night, we get together for great music, worship, skits, games, crafts, small groups, and service projects. Interactive presentations teach us about the Bible and what God has to say about how we can live better lives. Come join our JAM session. All K - 5th graders welcome.

 



Barefoot Youth Small Groups

Wednesday 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Cheek Hall Loft

For junior and senior high school students. Meet in the Cheek Fellowship Hall loft for a time of Bible study, fellowship and prayer.

 

 

 

Knitting/Prayer Shawl Class

Wednesday 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Nancy Hyndman is back to lead this popular class. A new ministry opportunity has arisen from this class to make prayer shawls for new mothers, the sick, the grieving, and others who may benefit from this awesome ministry. A great outreach tool. If you have ever wanted to learn to knit or crochet or already know how, come join us.

 

Invitation To The New Testament: A Short Term Disciple Bible Study

Wednesday 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

This is an 8 week study that shows how the New Testament writers and the early Christian community wrestled with the implications of the story of Jesus for their lives and their communities of faith. This study invites Christians today to study afresh this story of Jesus to learn more about their calling to discipleship and to community. This study will be led by Dr. Ken Freshour

 

Crown Financial Ministry Study

Wednesday 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

This is a ten week study and is a Crown Financial Ministry Study which is a non denominational Evangelical Christian Ministry with the mission of equipping Christians around the world to learn, apply and teach Bible based financial principles. This study will be led by Jeff and Aline Taylor.

 

When Helping Hurts by Steven Corbett & Brian Fikkert

Wednesday 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

This book reveals the painful truth about poverty. But it does more than tell you what not to do. The book moves from foundational concepts about poverty, to principles, to strategies for a plan to make a difference. This study will be led by Rev. Tom Fish

Tuesday Women's Bible Study

James: Mercy Triumps by Beth Moore

Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. in the McNeely Hall

James, Jesus' own brother started out as a skeptic. See how one glimpse of the resurrected Savoir turned an unbeliever into a disciple in this 8 session study. And in the process learn how you can put your own faith into action. This study is led by Jayne Snell.
