Rotational Sunday School
This year our Children's Ministry has begun a new model for Sunday school, which is known as WORKSHOP ROTATION. Within the model, churches study themes; we will do three-week themes using three workshops:
Bible/Drama Lessons
Art Lessons
Video Lessons
Each class will visit one workshop per Sunday. A typical Sunday looks like this: Children between age 4 and 5th grade gather in Room 108 downstairs. We assemble together and sing songs for 15 minutes and then classes split into 3 groups for workshops. Four and Five year olds form one class; 1st and 2nd graders are grouped together and 3rd through 5th grades are combined. Classes travel from Sunday to Sunday to one of 3 workshops: Art, Bible Time, and Video Learning. "Shepherds" (formerly known as Sunday School teachers) lead classes to their assigned workshop. Meanwhile, those leading the workshops teach the same lesson for 3 weeks and make only necessary changes depending on which age-level is coming through. By the end of the 3 weeks, children have studied the lesson in 3 mediums. Starting in 2008 we will be studying Bible Heroes. Come and see how God always keeps his promises to us.

Come join us for Sunday School at 9:45 a.m.
